What will your treatment look like?
Once you have decided which modaility you would like and the length of treatment you want, please use the online booking link or contact the clinic to set up your appointment.

Day of Appointment
If you are new to the clinic you will be asked to come in about 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, this will allow extra time to fill out any necessary forms. The paperwork includes a health history form in which the Massage Therapist will be able to get to know you and have a detailed background of your health and/or ailments. Next, you will sign an informed consent form, which provides the necessary information of what to expect from your treatment and to ensure you agree with the treatment plan your therapist has suggested.

Beginning Treatment
Once all paperwork is signed, your therapist will ask you questions regarding why you are seeking treatment and what your goals are. At this time, your therapist may conduct a small assessment to understand where they need to begin your treatment focus. Once you and your therapist have agreed on the treatment, they will inform you on how to undress (always to your comfort level) and how to get onto the table, they will then ask if you have any further questions and confirm your consent again before leaving the room. The therapist will then leave the room and allow you time to get onto the table. The therapist will always ask for permission to enter back into the room.

Once back in the treatment room, your therapist will begin the treatment. Please note that the therapist will only undrape the area of the body that they are working on in that moment. We are trained to use the sheets and blankets in a way to ensure the client is covered up at all times. Throughout the first little bit of the treatment, the therapist may ask about the pressure they are using and any pain that you may be feeling. This is your opportunity to modify the treatment pressure or techniques in any way- please note that you are always in control of this and can change/alter the treatment at ANY point during the treatment. Other than this you can ensure that your relaxation and/or therapeutic treatment has begun and this time is your time.

Finishing Up
Once the treatment has concluded, your therapist will ask you how you're feeling and advise you on how to get off the table. Be aware that you have been laying down for a while, it is normal to feel dizzy and/or light headed when standing up. Please take your time after treatment. When you are dressed, your therapist may come back into the room to re-evaluate any assessments or they may ask for you to meet them at reception. From there you will be directed to payment and/or rescheduling. If you have insurance, the clinic will try to submit it on your behalf. If your insurance provider does not allow for direct billing or you do not have insurance, you will be asked to pay for your treatment by cash or debit/credit card and you will be given an official receipt with all information regarding your treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you direct bill?
Yes! We direct bill most insurance companies. Be sure to let us know which company you are with when you book your appointment, so you will know if we can bill for them.
If I am unable to get onto the table, can I be treated seated?
Absolutely! We have all the equipment needed to make sure you are very comfortable no matter how you are positioned for your treatment.
I'm pregnant, can I still receive massage therapy?
Yes! There are plenty of benefits of massage for prenatal persons and is completely safe. We welcome you at any stage of your journey, with your doctor's approval as every journey is different. We have plenty of pillows and prenatal bolsters to keep you comfortable. Treatments are either done side-lying or face down with our special bolster and draping is still done in a modest, professional way. Let us know ahead of time if you are expecting as set-up can take a few minutes longer to prepare.
Do you use the same sheets for every client?
No, we use freshly laundered sheets, blankets and face cradle covers/towels for each client. We have strict standards and policies we need to follow to ensure the highest of health, safety and sanitation. Everything is sanitized between each client, including door knobs, lotion bottles, light switches etc. If we can clean/sanitize it, we do.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you are unable to come to your scheduled appointment, please phone the clinic as soon as possible. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee.
